I wanted to buy the memory card!!

Today I went to my local Gamestop. I just wanted to buy a Playstation 2 memory card because the one I have is almost full, and I'm sick and tired of having to erase my old cleared files to replace with new ones. So I walked in straight to the playstation section and they did not have anything. I thought maybe they are somewhere else but no I did not see anything related to the PS2 only tons of games.

So I was forced to ask one of the employees, there were two and the store was empty except for me. One of them went to set up some games, so I did not ask him since he was busy. I asked the guy by the register, he was not busy, but I could not ask him anything just yet. He started talking talking to the other employee about something. He was on the other side of the store. So, they were talking back and forth like I was not there. Me not trying to be rude and interrupt them patiently waited.

It was not too long like about 1 minute or less. Then he turned around and asked, "Do you have a question?" I said yes and kindly asked him if they sold Playstation 2 memory cards. I thought he was going to show me where they have them and then offer to ring me up since I was the only person there and I only asked for that. Obviously, that's all I wanted. He then practically told me to go look for them. What?! That's why I'm asking you stupid. If I knew where they were I would not be asking you for help. Well, he actually said that if they had any it was inside a display case, a locked one at that, and that I should look there. That is still saying that I should look for them and grab them myself. Obviouly, they know if they have any or not and they know that in order to get anything out of that case they need to open it with a key, that the costumer, ME, does not have. I mean, they work there.

So me like a little dumb went to look and yes they had a whole bunch. But I couldn't get any cause the case was locked. What was the point of me going to see if I couldn't get any memory cards?! Right when I was going to let the guy know that I wanted to get one he started talking to anther employee that had just arrived for his shift. They talked about some computer problem totally ignoring me standing right there waiting for someone to help me. Then some guy who wanted to trade in games came in. I was like what the hell? I just wanted to buy some dumb memory card. It seems that the employee told the guy to wait. So I just left angry. I'll just go buy a new one at Walmart or Target in the weekend. He just lost a customer. Cause I'm not going to take his rudeness. I'll give my money to another store.

It's, like, would it have killed the guy to just tell me that he would look, the display case was right next to the register, blocked by a giant Mario stand. He was not doing anything anyways. It would not take long to look and grab one since they were all the same, USED, over priced, memory cards. All he had to do was say, "Yes" and go get me the card and ring me up. That's it! It's not my fault that everything you are selling is going to yesterdays purchases. I was so angry. I asked because I did not see them, not because I was too lazy to look. I even asked nicely. Its like me asking if they had Final Fantasy XIII and he telling me to go look for it. I did not ask if they had GBA games or PS2 games, a general question that required me to go look. I asked if they had a MEMORY card, a specific item that did not require me to go look for it since they have everything right next to the register and they could just look it up in the computer. Hell, they guys did not ever greet me when I came in.

I'm probably not going there again anytime soon.
